Job Requirements:
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- At least eighteen (18) years in performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related Technical Field may be substitute for four (4) years experience. Master’s Degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to an additional two (2) years experience.
- At least ten (10) years leading, providing technical supervision, and guiding senior-level engineering personnel; solving varied technical/scientific problems; and generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule.
- Experience in many various system design and development to include: articulating the architectural vision; conceptualizing and experimenting with alternative architectural approaches; creating models and component and interface specifications documents and validating the architecture against requirements and assumptions.
- Detailed experience developing documentation required to support a program’s technical issues and training situations
- Experience with Object Oriented and Structured development methodologies, networks, data storage, data modeling, data ontologies, security architectures and CASE tool selection and use.
- In depth experience performing a variety of tasks related to knowledge/ technique dissemination to analytic workforce; demonstrated ability to convey new techniques and technologies to analytic workforce and facilitate transfer of acquired knowledge from experienced analysts to new analysts
- Working experience with system architectures in a service-oriented environment and integrating information systems into SOA or ESB architectures
- Experience in analytical environments/intelligence production organizations
- Working knowledge of agile and/or spiral development models. Developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large-scale programs
- Experience “wrapping” legacy systems or components as Web Services within an SOA framework
- Experience developing solutions integrating and extending integrating FOSS, COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors
- Knowledge of implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access
- Working knowledge of developing and deploying integrated desktop applications
- Strong Unix system administration skills, including configuration, troubleshooting, and automation

- Experience configuring and/or utilizing monitoring/logging solutions for operations such as; Nagios, Collectd, logstash, Kafka, Cassandra
- Solid web infrastructure fundamentals: TCP/IP NDS, HTTP, caching REST, and scale out
- Exceptional analytical abilities
- Experience configuring java Application servers such as Tomcat, Netty
- Experience configuring WWW servers such as apache, nginx, haproxy
- Experience using distributed source code control such as Git, mercurial
- Conducting root cause analysis on production issues with other engineers and software developers
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience
- Experience writing software for configuration management systems (Puppet, Chef) in a production environment

- Java SE 5+, java EE (Servlets, JSP)
- REST/Web architecture
- HTTP specification (methods, headers, response codes)
- Experience with noSQL databases: Cassandra, MongoDB, Berkeley DB
- Network security experience:
- Access and authorization – PKI, chain trusting, Central Authentication System
- Threat model development
- Vulnerability assessments
