SummitRTS is Belay’s Open Source Range Testing Suite and we are excited to release version 1.0! SummitRTS is a versatile automation framework that offers provisioning service and task execution engine capable of software installation, machine or software configuration, upgrade/patch applications, security testing, troubleshooting networks and more! It has the flexibility to execute multiple actions against a matrix of Operating Systems, versions, patch levels, languages and applications with no user interaction in its “set it and forget it” approach to task automation, providing reliable, repeatable results to keep pace in an agile environment.
This latest and greatest version offers a more robust, modular code base, utilizing multiple hypervisors, vSphere, VMware Workstation and Oracle’s VirtualBox, allowing you to run tests locally on your desktop machine, or on your network sharing resources with other team members.
